Neighbors

Why play it

Neighbors is one of the best ways to learn the political map region by region. China and Russia have 14 neighbours each and Brazil has 10, so a single round can cover the borders of half a continent.

Name every country that shares a land border with the one shown.

• Type each neighbor and confirm: any supported language, accents optional.

• On the map, the country is pink and every neighbor you find turns green. Pinch to zoom and double tap to go back.

• Countries that aren't neighbors are listed under the map. Trying one again doesn't count as a mistake.

• 5 mistakes end the game. There's no clock.

Tip

Think by region: rivers and mountain ranges usually mark the neighbors you're missing.

Tip

Only real land borders count — an island nation across the sea from another is never a valid answer here, no matter how close it looks on a map.
