Real or Fake?
You see a country's name and a flag. You have 60 seconds to decide, card after card, whether it is the real flag or a fake.
How to play
Swipe right or tap Real if the flag is genuine; swipe left or tap Fake if something is off. Half the cards are real. The fakes have two colours swapped, one colour replaced by a similar shade, the design mirrored, or they are another country's real flag under the wrong name. Every fake has been checked so that none of them happens to match a real flag.
The game gets harder as you go. The first 10 cards are well-known countries with only swapped colours or another country's flag; mirrored flags join between cards 11 and 25, and from card 26 you also get similar shades and less familiar countries.
Scoring
One point per right answer. Every 5 in a row adds 2 seconds to the clock and every mistake takes 3 away, so a good streak makes the round last longer. At the end you see your record, your best streak and the fakes you missed, each next to the real flag. The mode has its own ranking.
Tips
Check the order of the colours first and the details second. A mirror shows on flags that aren't symmetrical: Portugal has its green next to the pole, and Bangladesh's red disc sits slightly towards that side. If a flag looks well made but reminds you of somewhere else, it is probably a look-alike, such as Mali instead of Senegal or Indonesia instead of Monaco. Similar shades are the hardest: even the real flags of Chad and Romania differ only in their blue. And before you swipe, picture how the named country's flag should look, then compare.
What you learn
To look at flags properly: the exact order of the stripes, which way an emblem faces and which shade each country uses. That is exactly what you need to stop mixing up look-alike flags in the other modes.
